Role Purpose
We’re looking for a growth-oriented Head of Product to lead our product and engineering functions and join our executive team. This is a high-impact role responsible for setting the product vision, driving product-led growth, developing scalable product processes, and leading the Engineering team. You’ll work cross-functionally to unlock growth across both sides of our marketplace—Hosts and Travelers—and grow the team as we grow revenue.
40 % Execution & Collaboration
- Define and lead the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, KPIs, and customer needs.
- Oversee the Product & Engineering teams, fostering a high-performing, execution-oriented culture.
- Champion a data-informed, experimentation-driven approach to development and iteration.
- Identify and prioritize the most impactful opportunities across web and mobile to improve funnel performance and user experience.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Trip Experience, Finance, and Analytics to ensure product improvements drive measurable business outcomes.

- Align the product roadmap with real customer needs and pain points, focusing on value delivery at each stage of the user journey.

- Develop products that directly impact acquisition, retention, and revenue across both sides of the marketplace.
Knowledge
- 7+ years of experience in product leadership, ideally at venture-backed startups or marketplaces.
- Proven success in driving product-led growth and building products that impact customer acquisition and revenue.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycles, customer behavior, and user experience best practices.
- Bonus: Experience overseeing Engineering.
Skills
- Strong technical fluency—able to lead our Engineering Manager and the team while understanding architecture decisions and tradeoffs.

Role Purpose
As a Host Success Specialist, you will play a critical role in growing our Host customer base. You’ll be laser-focused on our core customers–content creators and community leaders–who use the TrovaTrip platform to host trips for their community. Your primary responsibility will be to sell the TrovaTrip value proposition, qualify Hosts and their communities, and prepare them for the trip launch phase. At that point, you will seamlessly transition them to their long-term partner, the Host Success Manager (Account Executive).
This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with creators, influencers, and thought leaders while contributing to the growth of their communities through meaningful travel experiences. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, & Trip Experience teams to ensure a seamless and high-impact customer journey.
70% Selling the TrovaTrip vision & qualifying customers
- Lead Identification & Engagement: Proactively source and engage prospects through various channels, including email and social media. Introduce them to the TrovaTrip platform and the value of hosting community trips.
- Lead Qualification: Use a consultative sales approach to uncover a Host’s goals, brand alignment, and community engagement. Demonstrate how TrovaTrip can add value to their community-building and monetization efforts.. You’ll conduct product walkthroughs and demos to showcase how the TrovaTrip platform streamlines the trip planning and enhances the overall travel experience for both the Host and their community. Leverage deep product knowledge to assess each Host’s unique needs and recommend the most effective next steps to move them forward in the journey.
- Lead Prioritization and Cultivation: Manage a robust pipeline of potential Hosts. Prioritize outreach based on lead potential and strategic fit, nurture relationships, and convert qualified prospects through thoughtful engagement and follow-up activities.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM (Hubspot), including outreach activity, detailed notes, and lead status. Consistently follow up to drive conversions and meet sales targets.
- Collaboration within Sales, Marketing, Business Development, & RevOps: As an extended team member across multiple departments, you are responsible for partnering closely with stakeholders to prioritize and optimize the lead management process.. Ensure high-priority leads are engaged effectively and efficiently, while continuously identifying ways to streamline processes and implement best practices. This role will have a strong emphasis on supporting and partnering withHost Success Managers to drive results and improve conversions. 30% Strategy and Vision Drive a product-led growth motion that fuels Host and traveler acquisition, activation, and retention. 20% Velocity & funnel movement
- Drive velocity by efficiently moving leads through the early stages of the customer’s journey, ensuring a smooth, fast-paced transition to maximize conversion and revenue generation.
- Communicate with prospective Hosts across various channels such as email, in-platform chat, and virtual meetings to deliver a seamless and personalized customer experience.
- Proactively support Hosts by equipping them with the resources, tools, and knowledge they need to get started on the TrovaTrip platform.
- Maintain a strong focus on meeting or exceeding monthly quotas related to host qualification and trip launch readiness
10% Cross-functional collaboration & reporting
- Operate at the intersection of inbound and outbound lead generation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach to lead engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with the Business Development and Host Success teams to share lead insights, trends, and best practices to improve handoffs and overall team performance.
- Manage webinar leads by converting attendees' interest into qualified leads; support webinar programs as a scalable source of lead generation and qualification.
- Actively identify and prospect from platforms like Meta Creator Marketplace and TikTok Creator Marketplace for pipeline development.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to ensure alignment and effective lead acquisition.
- Stay informed about trends and emerging platforms in the creator economy to identify new opportunities for outreach, engagement, and partnership.
Knowledge
- 1-3+ years of professional inside sales (B2C preferred) where you have been actively selling a value proposition to customers in-person or via screenshare/phone
- Experience using a CRM (preferably HubSpot) and Customer Service Tooling (preferably Intercom)
- Experience using Google Suite
- In-depth knowledge of lead prioritization, rapid engagement, and how to collaborate cross-functionally
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required
- Experience in lead scoring, customer engagement, and working in fast-paced environments
- Experience leading customers through product demonstrations, weaving in the value proposition, and doing effective discovery to qualify customers early in their evaluation
Abilities
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed plans and processes to drive inbound engagement
- Ability to craft compelling, personalized messaging
- Ability to deal with challenging problems, diagnose and assess for needs, and implement creative solutions
- Strong ability to rationalize and influence next steps through effective selling tactics

- Ability to conduct multiple product demonstrations daily via screenshare.
- It is important to note that work may include other projects and initiatives as assigned along with roles and responsibilities changing over time as business needs dictate.
