Welcome to Ireland!
dinner
Get to know your group and toast to the adventure ahead! Your welcome dinner will be included at a local restaurant. Dinner tonight will be a la carte traditional Irish cuisine with a set budget per person. No alcoholic beverages are included. The final restaurant is to be determined, but make sure you try the famous Irish stout stew!
Meet & Greet Welcome Gathering
Meet us in the hotel lobby for a warm welcome and the official start of our journey together. This isn’t just a quick hello — it’s the moment we set the tone for the entire experience. We’ll introduce ourselves, go over the intention of the trip, and talk about how we’ll be blending Ireland’s history, mythology, and landscapes with intuitive practices throughout the week. I’ll share what to expect, give you a few tools to help you stay grounded and open during our time here, and hand out anything you’ll need for the days ahead. Consider this your first chance to shift out of everyday life and step into the mystical rhythm of Ireland. Dinner follows afterward, so you’ll have plenty of time to connect with the group and settle into the magic of the week.

Overnight in Dublin
Dublin by Foot & Guinness Tasting
breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel is included. A typical hotel breakfast is continental, served buffet style. The exact breakfast offered will be determined by your finalized hotel.
Walking Tour of Dublin
Your local Guide will meet you at the hotel and you will start with a 15-minute walk towards the city center. From there, you'll embark on a journey through cobbled streets and iconic neighborhoods, stopping at must-see locations like Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, The Millennium Bridge and River Liffey, and Trinity College. As home to centuries of literary legends and with a culture steeped in folklore, every corner of Dublin truly has a story to tell. You will be walking for approximately 3 hours (2.5 miles) on normal road surfaces with the exception of some cobblestone streets. Please remember to bring comfortable shoes and reusable water bottles, hat, sunscreen, and a raincoat.
Guinness Storehouse Visit
After a break for lunch, your local Guide will lead you to the Guinness Storehouse for a self-guided tour to learn about the history of Ireland's famous beer. (*Depending on where your hotel is located, you will either walk or be transferred.*) At the end of the tour, you'll head to the Gravity Bar at the top of the Storehouse to enjoy a sweeping view of Dublin along with a perfectly poured, perfectly chilled pint of Guinness. Admission to the Storehouse and Gravity Bar is included with 1 pint of Guinness or 1 non-alcoholic drink.
Optional Group Lunch
After our morning walking tour, you’re invited to join the group for an optional lunch at a local spot in Dublin. This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are gathering where we can talk about what you noticed on the tour, what stood out to you energetically, or anything that’s starting to spark your intuition. If you’d rather explore the city and find your own place to eat, you’re welcome to do that too. Dublin has plenty of cafés and pubs where you can wander, people-watch, and start tuning in to the rhythm of the city in your own way.
Downtime in Dublin
After our visit to the Guinness Storehouse, enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at your own pace. This is your time to explore Dublin in whatever way feels right for you. You might wander over to the National Museum of Archaeology to see ancient Celtic artifacts, step inside Christ Church Cathedral or Dublin Castle to feel the energy of these historic spaces, or visit the National Museum of Ireland if you want more context before we head into the countryside. You’re also welcome to find dinner somewhere that calls to you, take a quiet walk through the city, or return to the hotel to rest and recharge. Let your intuition guide how you want to spend this part of the day.
Celtic Activation of the Old Ways Circle
Tonight we’ll gather for our first intuitive circle, a gentle but powerful workshop designed to help you shift from taking in Ireland with your eyes to taking it in with your intuition. After spending the day walking through Dublin’s history and stories, this circle will help you turn inward, clear your energy, and start listening to the quieter layers of the trip. I’ll guide you through practices to awaken your intuitive senses, connect with the spirit of Ireland, and strengthen your relationship with your guides. You’ll learn tools and techniques you can use throughout the rest of the journey so you can tune into each site, each landscape, and each moment on a deeper level. This is where the trip truly begins — where you start to feel the land, not just see it.

Rock of Cashel & Arrival in Killarney
breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel is included. A typical hotel breakfast is continental, served buffet style. The exact breakfast offered will be determined by your finalized hotel.
Transfer to Rock of Cashel
After breakfast, take a private transfer to the town of Cashel. Stops for the restroom and snacks will be made along the way as needed.
The Rock of Cashel Visit
It was here approximately 1,500 years ago that St. Patrick (yes, that St. Patrick!) converted the King of Munster. Today, the castle known as the Rock of Cashel remains a beloved archaeological and tourist destination. Admission is included, and you'll have approximately 1 hour to explore the grounds on your own before continuing the journey to Killarney. At the designated time given by your tour leader, please meet back at the bus to continue your journey. Please remember to bring comfortable shoes and reusable water bottles, hat, sunscreen, and a raincoat.
Transfer to Killarney
Take a private transfer to the countryside town of Killarney. Stops for the restroom and snacks will be made along the way as needed.
Sacred Site Ritual: Rock of Cashel
After exploring the Rock of Cashel on your own, we’ll come together for our first Sacred Site Immersion. This session is designed to help you tune into the land itself rather than just observe it. You’ll have time to wander the site, feel into the stones, and practice psychometry if you feel called — noticing any impressions, images, emotions, or intuitive hits that arise as you interact with the space. Once we regroup, I’ll guide you through a short, grounding meditation to help you connect with the lore, land spirits, fae, and the gods and goddesses associated with this ancient stronghold. We’ll end with a shared discussion where you can talk about anything you sensed during your exploration or meditation. We will also gather a small keepsake to work with throughout the rest of our journey.
Downtime in Killarney
Killarney is one of the most spiritually charged places in Ireland, surrounded by lakes, forests, and castle ruins that carry centuries of energy and old-world magic. It’s the kind of place where the land feels alive, and tapping into that spiritual current happens almost instantly. You’ll have a few hours to eat dinner and explore however you’d like — on your own, with your partner, or alongside others in the group. And don’t worry about missing castles here; Killarney has plenty. You might spend your downtime wandering through Muckross Abbey or visiting Ross Castle along the lakeshore, letting the atmosphere, history, and quiet beauty of the area guide you.
Celtic Activation of the Old Ways Circle
Tonight we’ll gather for our second Old Ways Circle, continuing the intuitive work we began in Dublin. This session builds on the tools and practices you’ve already learned, helping you stay open, grounded, and connected as we move deeper into Ireland’s landscape and lore. We’ll tune into the energy of Killarney, practice listening beneath the surface of what we’ve seen today, and explore simple techniques you can use throughout the rest of the trip to stay intuitively attuned. Think of this as Part Two in an ongoing series — a way to strengthen your inner senses, deepen your connection to the land, and prepare for the sacred sites still ahead.

Ring of Kerry Tour & Whiskey Tasting
breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel is included. A typical hotel breakfast is continental, served buffet style. The exact breakfast offered will be determined by your finalized hotel.
Ring of Kerry Driving Tour
Today, on a private transfer, you will drive around the Ring of Kerry. Restrooms will be available throughout the various stops that you will make along the way.
Ring of Kerry Tour
You will start with a 45-minute transfer, then begin your drive around the Ring of Kerry. Your local Guide is an expert on the region and will introduce you to their favorite viewing points and stops along the way. Please note that while there is not a lot of walking on this tour, we still recommend dressing comfortably for the ride.
Irish Whiskey Tasting
In the afternoon, transfer 10 minutes from the hotel to enjoy an Irish Whiskey tour. During your tasting, you will learn about the distilling process and get to sample 4 different whiskeys along with paired cheeses -- you'll even get professional tips on exactly what makes the perfect whiskey/cheese combo!
Sacred Site Rituals of the Ring of Kerry
Today we’ll travel the full Ring of Kerry, an eight-hour journey that winds through some of the most ancient and mystical landscapes in Ireland. Throughout the day, we’ll make intentional stops at spiritual landmarks along the route — places like Staigue Stone Fort, Loher Stone Fort, dramatic cliffside viewpoints, and coastal overlooks where you can see Skellig Michael rising out of the ocean in the distance. At each stop, we’ll pause for a brief Sacred Site Ritual, giving you a chance to feel into the stones, the land spirits, and the old stories rooted here. Between stops, the drive becomes part of the experience: you’ll have quiet time to read, nap, journal, or listen to podcasts about Irish mythology and the old ways, and at other moments we’ll come together to learn about the lore, history, and mythic traditions tied to the Ring of Kerry. This isn’t just a road trip. It’s a full-day rhythm of rest, learning, intuition, and land-connection — a moving pilgrimage through some of Ireland’s oldest energy.
Celtic Activation of the Old Ways Circle (Optional)
If you’re not too tired after our full day around the Ring of Kerry — and after the whiskey tasting and dinner — you’re welcome to join us for an optional Old Ways Circle. This won’t be a teaching-heavy session or anything new to learn. It’s simply a chance for anyone who wants to come together, unwind, and settle the energy of the day. I’ll guide a short meditation to help you integrate the land, the sites, and anything you felt during our Sacred Site Rituals. Think of it as a gentle closing to a powerful day, a space to reconnect with yourself and the group before we rest and move into the next part of our journey.

Train Journey to Dublin
Hop on a train and travel through the bright green heart of the emerald island back to Dublin. There are restrooms and a dining cart on board to purchase food and drinks.
dinner
Conclude your Celtic adventure with a heartwarming farewell dinner. Share laughter and memories with newfound friends at a local restaurant. Savor the best of Irish cuisine and toast to your adventures with a Slainte! Dinner tonight is a la carte with a set budget per person. No alcoholic drinks are included.
Optional Excursion: Tuatha Dé Danann
After we return to Dublin you’ll have time to grab lunch on your own and decide how you want to spend the rest of your afternoon. You’re welcome to stay in the city, explore at your own pace, rest at the hotel, or visit any sites you missed earlier in the trip. If you’d like to squeeze in even more magic before dinner, a group of us will be taking a 45-minute shuttle north of Dublin to visit one of Ireland’s most legendary sacred sites — the Hill of Tara, Newgrange, or possibly both depending on timing and interest. These places are deeply tied to the old ways, faery lore, and the mythology of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Tara is known for its sovereignty goddess traditions and ancient ceremonial energy, while Newgrange is a prehistoric passage tomb aligned with solar cycles older than Stonehenge. This add-on will require an additional cost for the shuttle and site entry, and spots will need to be reserved in advance. If you’re craving one last burst of mystical, land-based connection before we close our journey, this is the perfect way to end your time in Ireland.
Final Old Ways Circle
Tonight we’ll gather for our final Old Ways Circle, a closing ritual to honor everything we’ve experienced together over the course of this trip. This is where we bring it all full circle — the sacred sites, the lore, the land, the moments of intuition, the quiet flashes of knowing, and the tools you’ve been practicing all week. We’ll reflect on how your intuition has shifted or strengthened during our time in Ireland, talk about what opened up for you, and look at how to carry these abilities forward once you’re home. I’ll share a few final practices and tips to keep your psychic development active and grounded in real life. This circle is both a farewell and an anchoring, a way to seal the energy of the journey and step out of Ireland with clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to the old ways — and to yourself.

Farewell, Dublin!
breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel is included. A typical hotel breakfast is continental, served buffet style. The exact breakfast offered will be determined by your finalized hotel.
Farewell Morning Gathering
Before everyone heads off in different directions, we’ll have a simple farewell gathering over breakfast for anyone who’s still in Dublin. This isn’t a formal circle or workshop, just a space to say goodbye, check in about your plans for the day, and share any last reflections from the trip. If you’re staying in Ireland longer, this is the perfect moment to get suggestions or coordinate with others who might also be exploring. If you’re heading straight to the airport, no pressure at all — you can slip out whenever you need to. For those who join, we’ll take a few minutes to reconnect, exchange contact info, and acknowledge the journey we’ve shared before everyone heads back into their own world with a little more intuition and a lot more Ireland in their bones.

FAQ
Traveling with TrovaTrip
What's it like to travel on a Trova Trip?
Trova Trips are curated group travel experiences designed to help you see the world, meet new people, and connect over shared interests. Each trip is hosted by a community leader you know and trust, and run by professional local Operators who handle the logistics. Expect meaningful experiences, authentic activities, and a like-minded group to share it all with.
How does a Trova Trip actually work? Who's involved?
Great question! Each plays a key role in bringing your trip to life:
- The Host is your community leader—the person who brings the group together, sets the vibe, and curates the overall experience. They may lead a workshop or activity during the trip, but their main focus is connection and community, not logistics.
- The Operator is the certified, independent company that runs the trip on the ground. They handle the logistics like accommodations, transportation, Guides, activities, and safety. Every Operator we partner with is licensed, insured, and vetted to ensure a high-quality travel experience.
- TrovaTrip is the platform that powers it all. We connect Hosts with trusted Operators, provide the tools to design and manage trips, and support Travelers before and during their journey to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In short: The Host shapes the experience and brings the vibe, the Operator runs the trip, and we make it all happen. Read more about who does what here.
What's the difference between the Host, the Operator, and Trova?
Great question! Each plays a key role in bringing your experience to life:
- The Host is your community leader who brings the group together, fosters connection, and perhaps leads a workshop or two. They're there to bring the vibes, not the logistics. That's the Tour Operator's job.
- The Operator is the professional travel company that runs the trip on the ground. They handle it all—accommodations, local Guides, activities, and safety. Every Operator we partner with is licensed, insured, and vetted to deliver high-quality group travel.
- TrovaTrip is the platform who connects it all. We help design the trips, partner with Hosts with Operators, and support you before and during your journey to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In short: The Host brings the vibe, the Operator runs the trip, and we make it all happen. Read more about who does what here.
I'm nervous to book. How can I feel more confident?
First, let us say—it's totally understandable, and you're not alone! Travel can feel intimidating, but we built Trova to take the guesswork out of group travel and earn your trust every step of the way:
- Every trip is run by licensed Tour Operators with vetted local Guides.
- Hosts are there to foster connection, meaning you'll arrive solo but never feel alone.
- Itineraries are clearly outlined so you know what to expect, including activity level, example accommodations, and what's included.
- Our team is available to support you pre-departure, and Operators—plus your local Guide—are on the ground to assist during the trip. And rest assured, all our Operating partners are trained in crisis management.
- We always recommend travel insurance for extra peace of mind, whether you're traveling with Trova or solo. It can cover medical issues, lost luggage, or even cancellations.
We know it takes trust to book a trip with new people, and we're here to make sure you feel ready, supported, and excited!”
Can I book solo?
Absolutely! As of 2025, almost 84% of TrovaTrip Travelers go solo. (And yes, we may be a little biased, but we think group travel is one of the best ways to meet new people!) You'll have your own bed and the option to book a private room on most trips. Plus you'll be traveling with others who are just as excited to explore and connect.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while balancing the logistics of group travel:
- Spot pending – 100% refundable. Not confirmed yet? No worries. You can cancel at any time for a full refund.
- Spot confirmed with 91 or more days before your trip – Partially refundable + credit towards a future trip. You'll receive a future trip credit for the amount of your down payment (minus a $100 cancellation fee per Traveler). This trip credit is valid for one year from the date it is issued. Additionally, any payments made beyond the original 25% down payment will be refunded to your original form of payment.
- Spot confirmed with 90 days or fewer before your trip – Non-refundable. At this point, all payments are non-refundable because your experience is already in motion behind the scenes. By this time, our operating partners will be working with local businesses to secure your accommodations and finalize your activities.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Protect Your Adventure–Invest in Peace of Mind
We strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage to safeguard your investment. With travel insurance, you're covered in case of unexpected events–from illness to emergencies–that could affect your plans. Life is unpredictable, but your dream trip doesn't have to be.
After booking, you'll receive a personalized recommendation for coverage tailored to your trip. For full details on our cancellation policy, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
What's included in the trip cost?
Most trips include accommodations, daily activities, ground transportation, some meals, and a dedicated local Guide. Because Travelers are coming from all around the world, flights to and from your destination are not included. Each trip page breaks it all down for you.
Does my Host make money from hosting?
TL;DR: Sometimes! Many Hosts earn income from leading trips, but not always.
Every trip on Trova is uniquely shaped by the Host. They choose the destination, curate the itinerary, and rally their community to come along for the adventure. It’s a big effort (and a rewarding one, or so we hear!).
A Host’s earnings depend on the trip price they set and how many Travelers join. Trova provides the tools, support, and platform—but ultimately, income isn’t guaranteed.
Will I have free time?
Yes! While we pack in incredible experiences, most itineraries include built-in free time so you can relax, wander, or check out personal must-sees.
What do the activity levels mean?
Every trip has a physical Activity Level from 1 to 5 so you can find the right fit for your travel style:
- Level 1 – Relax + Unwind: Minimal movement (spa days, beach lounging, local markets)
- Level 2 – Low-Key Movement: Light, easy-paced activity (snorkeling, boat tours, gentle hikes)
- Level 3 – Moderate Activity: Ready to move (multi-day hikes, skiing, camping)
- Level 4 – Get Your Heart Rate Up: More intense movement (long hikes, biking, active days)
- Level 5 – Extreme Adventure: High-adrenaline travel (challenging hikes, dives, technical climbs – experience may be required)
You'll find the Activity Level clearly listed on each trip page, and a more in-depth explanation of each level here.
Who can I contact with more questions?
Our support team is here to help! Visit trovatrip.com/company/contact-us to reach out. You can expect to hear back within 2 business days, but probably sooner—our Trova elves are pretty speedy!
Accommodations
What does "or similar" mean next to the accommodations?
When we say “or similar,” it means the hotel listed is an example of what you can expect—not always the exact spot you'll be staying. Sometimes Operators adjust accommodations due to seasonal availability or group size. But rest assured: the quality and comfort will match what's shown.
Why would the accommodations change from time of booking?
Flexibility allows Operators to choose the best-fit accommodations closer to your trip—based on availability, logistics, and what works best for the group (like the number of Travelers and room configurations). This ensures a smooth experience without sacrificing comfort or quality.
Finalized hotel info is typically shared about 30 days before departure in your Traveler Portal, along with your final itinerary.
Trip Operations & Compliance
Who actually runs my trip, and how does Trova keep things safe?
Your trip is operated by licensed, certified Tour Operators who manage all trip logistics and safety—from accommodations and local Guides and day-to-day logistics. All trips comply with local legal and regulatory standards. We vet each Operating partner carefully so you can travel with confidence.
Who do I talk to if I have questions about safety or compliance?
If you have any questions about safety protocols or trip compliance, reach out to us at safety@trovatrip.com. We're here to help.
General Travel Questions
Do I need any documentation to travel?
It depends on where you're headed. Though it is not a universal requirement, many countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date. This ensures Travelers have sufficient time to return home even if their visas are extended or if unexpected circumstances arise.
Some destinations may also require a visa. Check our visa page to consult your country's travel resources.
Do I need any vaccines?
It's always best to check with your healthcare provider or a travel doctor before your trip. You can also visit the CDC website (or your local government's travel health resource) for destination-specific vaccine guidance. Health and safety first!
Are flights included in the trip cost?
Because our Hosts and Travelers are coming from all around the world, flights to and from your destination are not included. Some trips include internal flights (like a short domestic hop), and those details will always be listed on the trip page if applicable.
Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
We’ll do our very best! Our Operators aim to accommodate dietary restrictions, though availability varies by destination. For example, some places offer plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, while others might be quite limited. The earlier you let us know—through your trip form or by contacting our support team—the better we can prepare. Once you arrive, be sure to remind your local Guide about any allergies or restrictions so they can help you enjoy your meals safely and comfortably.
