Info
dinner
You will have a short walk from the hotel to a local taverna. For dinner you will try Greek cuisine. Dinner is included at a local taverna with a set menu consisting of: Family style shared starters, choice of 1 main dish, dessert and 1 glass of wine or 1 beer or 1 soft drink. Water and bread are also included. Final menu and restaurant to be determined.
Optional ~Bonding~
Very casual hangout. Maybe before or during or after dinner, who's to say! Would just love to sit and chat and get to know everyone, as well as encourage everyone to get to know one another! I'll also create & bring special cards and such to cultivate meaningful conversation. I'd also love to talk about intentions, going into our trip, and what you hope to get out of our travels. This will happen throughout the experience, so if you're sleeping or feeling tapped out socially, feel free to opt out and get some beauty rest.
PRESENTS!!!
You'll also find lots of goodies & merch from yours truly, as well as other fabulous brands, as you arrive. TBD, but it's going to be sexy & fun, just like you!

Overnight in Heraklion
Info
breakfast
Greek Continental buffet breakfast at the hotel is included. A typical Greek Continental breakfast usually includes: Coffee, tea, bread, jams, honey, yogurt, milk, croissant, cake, cereals, seasonal fruits, eggs, cold cuts, bacon & sausages (above items can vary).
Palace of Knossos Site Visit
You will be transferred 20 minutes for your archeological tour. Perhaps one of the most famous stories from Crete, visit the site and see where Knossos stood 3,000 years ago. Admission into the site is included. The vast labyrinth stretched beneath your feet, hiding the terrible Minotaur and all who challenged the king. This tour includes walking on uneven ground and walking on unpaved ground for roughly half a mile. After time with your guide you will be able to explore on your own.
Transfer to Rethymno
Take a private transfer to Rethymno. Stops for bathroom/snacks will be made along the way as needed.
Catamaran Day- Optional
This is all still being researched, because we're still a ways away. But! Originally, the trip organizers had a big museum day planned for our second day. Mayyyybe I'm bias, but if I'm going to Greece, I want to be on a boat. On the water. Possibly topless? If showing skin is a crime, lock me UP. Anyways- we can decide as a group, looks like it'll be anywhere from $50-$150 per person, depending on size of group and length of our day. We can do a full day cruise, island hop, snorkeling, sunset cruise, the options are endless. So we can decide this as a group, and keep in mind, totally optional!
Sunset & Dinner- Optional
Again, depending on timing of our boat day! Although most dinners are not included $$$, I'll take anyone interested to a local dinner spot, and we can grub & have a few drinks and hangout. I'd also like to seek out a local sunset spot, as I am an absolute SLUT for a pretty sunset. Expect more bonding and fun times & conversations, DUH.

Rethymno Jeep Safari
After breakfast you will meet your private drivers and jeeps at the hotel for a half day of exploring Crete. There will be 4-6 people per vehicle. Rumble along remote roads in the gorgeous Rethymno region, passing landmarks like Prasses Gorge and Potamon Dam and stopping to swim in the Mediterranean Sea. The route is approximately 60 miles.
lunch
Light lunch is included at a local taverna. You will be served a traditional Cretan meal family style (shared local dishes) with 2 glasses of local wine.
Preveli Beach Visit and Swim
A picturesque palm beach, stop for a visit and bring your bathing suit for a swim! You will have 1 hour to relax and explore before heading back for the remainder of the day. Please do not forget to pack a towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and water.
Dinner, Journaling & Vision Boarding
We can find a fun spot for dinner, or take some pizza’s to go and sit on the beach. I want to take some time to journal, if that fancies you! Vision boarding, crafting, journal prompts, and exploring our own minds & wants & desires in life. I swear, when I travel, life becomes SO clear, and it allows me to take a step back and worth through the normalcy, limiting beliefs, or decisions I'm struggling with on my day to day. Also just love a vision board moment. I love being a girl!!
Thirst Trap City - Optional
Kidding, BUT don't forget we're going to be in TONS of STUNNING, and also instagramable, places, and I am a professional photographer, by default. So if anyone, honestly at any point on the trip, needs or wants any photos, I can take cute pics for you! Will also share all the content I get on the trip in a Dropbox or Google Drive, to make everyone from your hometown and all your ex boyfriends jealous hehe
It's a Bad Night to be a Grecian Man, or a Cocktail
LOL jk, but not. Let's hit the town ladies! Get dressed up, get locals to buy our drinks (it's called budgeting) and let our freaking hair down! A bar crawl of Rethymno, if you will. Til the break of dawn!!! (Or til they kick us out)

Final menu & restaurant to be determined.
Transfer to Chania
After lunch take a private transfer to Chania. Stops for the bathroom/snacks will be made along the way as needed.
Bar Rat Expedition- Optional
As we don't have to be up TOO early tomorrow, if anyone would like to go for a drink or five, we can go exploring and see what the night life of Chania has in store. Nothing too crazy, as we have a big day, but happy to go out and about if anyone is interested!
Morning Meditation by the Water
We mayyy be hurting from the night prior, but we’re in GREECE for god’s sake! Let’s get present, do some breathing exercises, and ground ourselves back in this FABULOUS, one in a lifetime experience we’ve found ourselves in. Post meditation, we can hang at the beach before our Waterfall Tour!
Exploring Rethymno - Optional
Before or after the waterfall tour, we can take a beat and take in the small town of Rethymno, before heading to our next destination! My favorite thing to do while traveling, is just that! Walking around aimlessly and taking it all in.

Chania Guided Walking Tour
Meeting in the hotel lobby you will begin exploring the town of Chania and tasting local delicacies. On your private walking tour, your guide will show you the highlights of the city and explain the various influences that have impacted the architecture and the city itself. After walking through Chania and tasting various local delicacies you will have a much better understanding of the local life and the Cretan cuisine. The number of tastings will be confirmed in your final itinerary. You will be walking on pedestrian streets and paved roads for approximately 1.4 miles. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and pack a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen as needed.
Monastery Visit & Wine Tour (optional)
From town you will be privately transferred to The Patriarchal Monastery of the Holy Trinity Tzagarolon, one of the most important monasteries of the Venetian era in Crete with a rich offering of history and education on the island. In recent years the Monastery has developed the systematic cultivation of organic vines and produces excellent wine, tsikoudia (raki), olive oil, honey, vinegar and olive oil soap. You will have the opportunity to taste 5 wines, accompanied by traditional Cretan snacks. *Please note that when visiting the Monastery, you will need to wear clothing that covers your knees and shoulders.
Hot Hungover Girl Workout - Optional
I love to move my body, especially when I'm traveling and wayyyy out of wack. After the walking tour, if anyone wants to go for a run with me, do a little workout, or go for a long walk, come with me and let's sweat! Also might be a good idea to sweat out the tequila I had the night before.
Chiller Beach Time - Optional
Lay on the beach, relax, lay face down in the water and play dead, join a local game of volleyball, hang out with our friends and lovers we made the night prior. Just some down time penciled in. Can easily switch this is we want to be more active, but in the midst of hectic travel, down time is always coveted.
Dinner & Bop - Optional
Will probably grab a bite to eat in town and just see whats up, more casually than we did the night before, if anyone wants to join me!

Upon arrival at Gramvousa Island, you will have time to walk up to the Venetian castle or spend your time swimming and sunbathing. Your next stop is Balos, one of the most beautiful places on earth! Here you will have the privilege of swimming in the shallow and warm lagoon waters. For today, please be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes, a hat, bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, water & snacks. You can also bring a change of clothes if you'd like. After returning to the dock you will be transferred back to the hotel where you will have time to relax on your own before the farewell dinner.
Paddle boarding & Beach Time- Optional
It’s our LAST DAYYYYY! UGH! We can do anything, but figured since we’re busy on the Cruise all day, seeing & walking around lots of different towns, we can chill at the beach after the boat; maybe rent paddle boards or kayaks on the water. Any other bucket list items on your list, let’s do it!
Debrief - Optional
Depending on dinner timing, we can hit the sunset and hang and just debrief the week. If we’re extending our travel, we can game plan and see where everyone’s going next, and kiss each other on the lips because we’ve found our bestie soulmate fulfilling friendships for LIFE.

FAQ
Traveling with TrovaTrip
What's it like to travel on a Trova Trip?
Trova Trips are curated group travel experiences designed to help you see the world, meet new people, and connect over shared interests. Each trip is hosted by a community leader you know and trust, and run by professional local Operators who handle the logistics. Expect meaningful experiences, authentic activities, and a like-minded group to share it all with.
What's the difference between the Host, the Operator, and Trova?
Great question! Each plays a key role in bringing your experience to life:
- The Host is your community leader who brings the group together, fosters connection, and perhaps leads a workshop or two. They're there to bring the vibes, not the logistics. That's the Tour Operator's job.
- The Operator is the professional travel company that runs the trip on the ground. They handle it all—accommodations, local Guides, activities, and safety. Every Operator we partner with is licensed, insured, and vetted to deliver high-quality group travel.
- TrovaTrip is the platform who connects it all. We help design the trips, partner with Hosts with Operators, and support you before and during your journey to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In short: The Host brings the vibe, the Operator runs the trip, and we make it all happen. Read more about who does what here.
I'm nervous to book. How can I feel more confident?
First, let us say—it's totally understandable, and you're not alone! Travel can feel intimidating, but we built Trova to take the guesswork out of group travel and earn your trust every step of the way:
- Every trip is run by licensed Tour Operators with vetted local Guides.
- Hosts are there to foster connection, meaning you'll arrive solo but never feel alone.
- Itineraries are clearly outlined so you know what to expect, including activity level, example accommodations, and what's included.
- Our team is available to support you pre-departure, and Operators—plus your local Guide—are on the ground to assist during the trip. And rest assured, all our Operating partners are trained in crisis management.
- We always recommend travel insurance for extra peace of mind, whether you're traveling with Trova or solo. It can cover medical issues, lost luggage, or even cancellations.
We know it takes trust to book a trip with new people, and we're here to make sure you feel ready, supported, and excited!”
Can I book solo?
Absolutely! As of 2025, almost 84% of TrovaTrip Travelers go solo. (And yes, we may be a little biased, but we think group travel is one of the best ways to meet new people!) You'll have your own bed and the option to book a private room on most trips. Plus you'll be traveling with others who are just as excited to explore and connect.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while balancing the logistics of group travel:
- Spot pending – 100% refundable. Not confirmed yet? No worries. You can cancel at any time for a full refund.
- Spot confirmed with 91 or more days before your trip – Partially refundable + credit towards a future trip. You'll receive a future trip credit for the amount of your down payment (minus a $100 cancellation fee per Traveler). This trip credit is valid for one year from the date it is issued. Additionally, any payments made beyond the original 25% down payment will be refunded to your original form of payment.
- Spot confirmed with 90 days or fewer before your trip – Non-refundable. At this point, all payments are non-refundable because your experience is already in motion behind the scenes. By this time, our operating partners will be working with local businesses to secure your accommodations and finalize your activities.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Protect Your Adventure–Invest in Peace of Mind
We strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage to safeguard your investment. With travel insurance, you're covered in case of unexpected events–from illness to emergencies–that could affect your plans. Life is unpredictable, but your dream trip doesn't have to be.
After booking, you'll receive a personalized recommendation for coverage tailored to your trip. For full details on our cancellation policy, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
What's included in the trip cost?
Most trips include accommodations, daily activities, ground transportation, some meals, and a dedicated local Guide. Because Travelers are coming from all around the world, flights to and from your destination are not included. Each trip page breaks it all down for you.
Will I have free time?
Yes! While we pack in incredible experiences, most itineraries include built-in free time so you can relax, wander, or check out personal must-sees.
What do the activity levels mean?
Every trip has a physical Activity Level from 1 to 5 so you can find the right fit for your travel style:
- Level 1 – Relax + Unwind: Minimal movement (spa days, beach lounging, local markets)
- Level 2 – Low-Key Movement: Light, easy-paced activity (snorkeling, boat tours, gentle hikes)
- Level 3 – Moderate Activity: Ready to move (multi-day hikes, skiing, camping)
- Level 4 – Get Your Heart Rate Up: More intense movement (long hikes, biking, active days)
- Level 5 – Extreme Adventure: High-adrenaline travel (challenging hikes, dives, technical climbs – experience may be required)
You'll find the Activity Level clearly listed on each trip page, and a more in-depth explanation of each level here.
Who can I contact with more questions?
Our support team is here to help! Visit trovatrip.com/company/contact-us to reach out. You can expect to hear back within 2 business days, but probably sooner—our Trova elves are pretty speedy!
Accommodations
What does "or similar" mean next to the accommodations?
When we say “or similar,” it means the hotel listed is an example of what you can expect—not always the exact spot you'll be staying. Sometimes Operators adjust accommodations due to seasonal availability or group size. But rest assured: the quality and comfort will match what's shown.
Why would the accommodations change from time of booking?
Flexibility allows Operators to choose the best-fit accommodations closer to your trip—based on availability, logistics, and what works best for the group (like the number of Travelers and room configurations). This ensures a smooth experience without sacrificing comfort or quality.
Finalized hotel info is typically shared about 30 days before departure in your Traveler Portal, along with your final itinerary.
Trip Operations & Compliance
Who actually runs my trip, and how does Trova keep things safe?
Your trip is operated by licensed, certified Tour Operators who manage all trip logistics and safety—from accommodations and local Guides and day-to-day logistics. All trips comply with local legal and regulatory standards. We vet each Operating partner carefully so you can travel with confidence.
Who do I talk to if I have questions about safety or compliance?
If you have any questions about safety protocols or trip compliance, reach out to us at safety@trovatrip.com. We're here to help.
General Travel Questions
Do I need any documentation to travel?
It depends on where you're headed. Though it is not a universal requirement, many countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date. This ensures Travelers have sufficient time to return home even if their visas are extended or if unexpected circumstances arise.
Some destinations may also require a visa. Check our visa page to consult your country's travel resources.
Do I need any vaccines?
It's always best to check with your healthcare provider or a travel doctor before your trip. You can also visit the CDC website (or your local government's travel health resource) for destination-specific vaccine guidance. Health and safety first!
Are flights included in the trip cost?
Because our Hosts and Travelers are coming from all around the world, flights to and from your destination are not included. Some trips include internal flights (like a short domestic hop), and those details will always be listed on the trip page if applicable.
Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
We’ll do our very best! Our Operators aim to accommodate dietary restrictions, though availability varies by destination. For example, some places offer plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, while others might be quite limited. The earlier you let us know—through your trip form or by contacting our support team—the better we can prepare. Once you arrive, be sure to remind your local Guide about any allergies or restrictions so they can help you enjoy your meals safely and comfortably.
