Tonight’s outing is your chance to experience a unique and rather delicious Thai custom, the ‘Khantoke’ dinner. Served on large platters on low tables, enjoy a selection of iconic Northern-style dishes, including spicy chili dip with steamed vegetables, crispy pork skin, fried chicken wings, spicy sausage and the classic Burmese-inspired pork curry. During your meal, enjoy a line-up of live dance and music performances by members of surrounding ethnic hill tribes, including Karen, Hmong, Lahu, Akha, Mien and Lisu. To cap off a memorable night, you’re invited to join in with the final act called ‘Ramwong’, where you can dance alongside the local performers.

After breakfast, you’ll take a 20-minute private transfer to the vespa shop where you'll meet your driver and get fitted for a helmet. Then, embark on an exciting journey with stops at Tha Phae Gate, Wat Doi Kham Temple, an artisan village, Warorot Market, and Silver Temple. Begin at the iconic Tha Phae Gate, weaving through narrow lanes in the old city before venturing into a scenic rural landscape on winding forest-lined roads. Explore a serene 7th Century hilltop temple with a Buddha statue, then enjoy a cool ride downhill to a bohemian craft village. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Warorot Market, savoring exotic local produce, and conclude the adventure at the breathtaking Silver Temple, capturing incredible photo opportunities. Throughout, the local guide will provide a unique local's insight into Chiang Mai.

Lunch as a part of the Explore Chiang Mai by Vespa tour is included. You will be trying Khao Soi, a classic Northern Thai specialty. Water is included. Additional food and beverage at your own expense. Then take a 20 minute transfer back to the hotel.

In the late afternoon, you’ll take a 45 minute private transfer to the Hang Dong district of Chiang Mai. Arrive in Bandoo to find a glorious teak house, dating back 150 years and owned by the Ruankaew-Yanon family who played an important role shaping the local Lanna community. Today, get to know your hosts and how their lifestyle and home is not so different from their ancestors hundreds of years ago. In addition to exploring the house and its grounds, get the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and join in on the cooking with your host family - a good opportunity to pick up a few Thai cooking skills that you can take home with you! Dinner is served on the second-floor terrace, affording some panoramic views of the surrounding Lanna village. After dinner, head back to the city on a 30 minute private transfer.

In the morning you'll be picked up from hotel to explore the Doi Saket countryside transferring to/from each stop by van. You’ll first stop at Toong Na Fah Kwang, a rice field and farm, where you'll learn about the efficiency economy theory of King Rama IX, a guiding principle that emphasizes moderation, resilience, and self-reliance. It encourages individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole to pursue balanced and sustainable development without compromising long-term stability. This philosophy is often linked to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Continue onward to the arts quarters, where you'll discover the art of crafting local bags and wooden dolls and get to make some of your own for personalized souvenirs to take home with you. Conclude your adventure at the Tai Lue Museum, gaining insights into the lifestyle of the Tai Lue ethnic group that resides in northern Thailand. You’ll then head to Tai Lue Center for a Kad Mua lunch. Note: Order of activities possible subject to change upon weather. Guide will inform clients on spot.

Take a 15 minute transfer from the hotel to Pai Night Market. Pai Walking Street is a large outdoor market, boasting an array of market stalls and shops lining both sides of the street. There are both restaurants as well as delightful options of street food as you stroll along this lively avenue. In addition to the culinary delights, the street is adorned with art, showcasing everything from jewelry to paintings. The Pai Night Market, situated on Pai Walking Street, spans between 500 and 1,000 meters, depending on the season. A leisurely walk, with stops, will take a maximum of half an hour. Note that this is just a walking tour and that food, drinks, and shopping are at their own expense. Be sure to have cash on you as most vendors are cash only. Then take a 15 minute transfer back to the hotel after a long day.

Discover the enchanting Tham Lod Cave, situated in the scenic landscapes of northern Thailand, celebrated for its remarkable stalactite formations and ancient rock arrangements. You’ll get to explore the caves by foot as well as hop onto a bamboo raft to navigate the cave's underground river, guided by local experts sharing insights into the cave's history. Drift through echoing chambers and concealed passages, where the rich history of Tham Lod Cave unfolds, creating an immersive and awe-inspiring experience. This adventure harmoniously merges the allure of natural beauty with the cultural fascination of the cave's historical importance. Note that lifejackets will not be available. During monsoon season and days of heavy rain, the bamboo rafting experience will not be available. You will only be visiting the cave by foot.

Take a 5 minute transfer to a spa near the hotel where you will enjoy a 60 minute Thai massage. It involves a combination of acupressure and stretches. This therapeutic practice is renowned for promoting relaxation, soothing your muscles, and enhancing overall well-being. Note that only 8 people can get a massage at a time. If the group needs to be divided, you will be given an appointment time and can relax at the hotel until pickup.
