Jama Masjid Visit
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a 30 minute private transfer to Jama Masjid, your first stop of the Old Delhi walking and rickshaw tour. Your guide will take you through Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most renowned mosques in the country. Constructed in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it showcases magnificent Mughal architecture with intricate marble domes and towering minarets. Its vast courtyard can accommodate thousands of worshippers during prayers, making it a significant religious and cultural landmark in India.
Sheeshganj Gurudwara Sikh Temple
Then you’ll walk 10 minutes over to Sheeshganj Gurudwara Sikh Temple, a revered Sikh temple situated in Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi. It holds historical significance as the site where Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, was martyred in 1675. The Gurudwara stands as a symbol of Sikh valor and resistance against religious persecution during the Mughal era. Its architecture blends traditional Sikh design elements with intricate craftsmanship, attracting devotees and visitors to experience its spiritual ambiance and rich cultural heritage.

Khari Baoli Spice Market
After lunch, you’ll hop on the back of a motor rickshaw for a 10 minute ride over to Khari Baoli Spice Market, one of the largest and oldest spice markets in Asia. Dating back to the 17th century, it boasts a vibrant atmosphere filled with the aroma of various spices, herbs, nuts, and dried fruits. Merchants from all over India gather here to trade an extensive array of spices, making it a bustling hub of commerce and cultural exchange. Your guide will take you around the market and then climb the rooftop of the market to have the aerial view of Old Delhi. You’ll then have some free time to explore the narrow lanes lined with shops on your own.

Train Transfer to Agra
Early this morning, at 6:00am, you will be transferred 40 minutes to Hazrat Nizammudin Railway station. At the station, hop aboard the train for a 1 hour 40 minute journey to Agra. Your luggage will be stored in the overhead compartment. Recommend packing a small day pack for items you want easily accessible. Once you’ve arrived, you’ll take a 10 minute private transfer to the fort.
Agra Fort Visit
Perched on the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra, India, the Agra Fort stands as a testament to Mughal opulence and architectural prowess. In just 1.5 hours, visitors can absorb the fort's rich history and marvel at its intricate design. Built from red sandstone and adorned with marble palaces, the fort offers a glimpse into the grandeur of Emperor Akbar's reign. Wander through its expansive courtyards, adorned with lush gardens and impressive structures. Explore the ornate chambers, including the Jahangir Palace and the exquisite Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). A visit to Agra Fort promises a captivating experience, immersing visitors in the vibrant tapestry of India's royal past and leaving them spellbound by its timeless beauty. After returning to the vehicle you will be transferred 10 minutes to your new hotel.
Street Food Chaat Crawl
From the hotel you will be transferred 10 minutes to begin your walking food tour. You will stop along the way at 2-3 different street food vendors to sample the local cuisine. You may try things like Chaat, Tikki or Pav Bhaji. Drinks are not provided but are available for purchase. We recommend bringing extra cash if you wish to purchase any additional food items. After this tour you will have the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Taj Mahal at Sunrise
Rise before the crack of dawn to witness the ethereal beauty of the sunrise casting its golden glow upon the Taj Mahal, a truly magical moment etched in memory. Depending on the season and time of the sunrise, you will be picked up from your hotel between 4:00am and 5:00am and transferred 10 minutes to the Taj Mahal. The tour of the Taj Mahal itself lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing ample time to explore the iconic monument and its surroundings. After your time is complete you will be transferred back to your hotel for breakfast and to rest of the remainder of the morning, until your cooking demonstration.
Mughlai Cooking Demonstration
At 5:00pm you will meet in the lobby. You will be transferred 30 minutes to a local home where the family will teach you different techniques in preparing traditional Indian cuisine. Since you will be using fresh ingredients your menu will depend upon the season and will be confirmed closer to the start date. Your meal may be 1-2 vegetarian curries and flatbreads. This is more of a cooking demonstration but you will be able to experience making the chapatis. After you’ve finished cooking you will all enjoy the meal together. You will be transferred back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Transfer to Jaipur
Take a private transfer to Jaipur. Bathroom breaks will be made as needed. During your transfer, you will make a stop to stretch your legs.
Jaipur City Palace
In the afternoon, around 1:00pm, you will be transferred 5 minutes to the Jaipur City Palace. Here, with your guide, you will have 2 hours to explore. Visitors are greeted by its grand facade adorned with intricately carved arches, domes, and vibrant hues, reflecting the opulence of Jaipur's royal heritage. Step into its opulent chambers adorned with exquisite artwork, including delicate frescoes, ornate mirror work, and stunning lattice screens. Explore the sprawling courtyards, adorned with lush gardens, elegant fountains, and pavilions that once hosted royal celebrations and gatherings. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the city from the palace's vantage points, offering a glimpse into Jaipur's vibrant streets and bustling markets. Entrance into the palace is included.
Jantar Mantar Observatory
From the palace you will be transferred 5 minutes to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, which is a remarkable testament to the ingenuity and astronomical knowledge of ancient India. You will be awe-struck by the grandeur of its massive instruments, each meticulously constructed to measure time, track celestial bodies, and predict astronomical events. Among its highlights is the towering Samrat Yantra, the world's largest sundial, which accurately measures time to the minute. Entrance into the observatory is included. Once your time is complete you will be transferred 10 minutes to your hotel and have the remainder of the day free.

Amber Fort
At 9:00am you will be transferred 30 minutes to Amber Fort. Known for its history and architecture you will spend time learning about this hilltop fortress. You can explore the fort's various sections, including the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), the Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) known for its breathtaking mirror work. Your entrance into the fort is included.
Pink Rickshaw Food Tour
Embark on the Pink Rickshaw Food Tour, an exciting culinary journey through Jaipur's bustling streets. Starting at 1 PM, guests will be transferred 20 minutes from Amber Fort to the city center market to board their rickshaws, with arrangements coordinated by the on-ground leader. With two people per rickshaw, participants will explore multiple stops to sample a variety of mouthwatering treats including Kachori, Lassi, Rabri, Kulfi, and Chai. This immersive experience offers a perfect blend of culture, flavors, and camaraderie, providing a memorable exploration of Jaipur's vibrant street food scene. After that you will be transferred 10 minutes to your hotel. You have time on your own to do as you please.

Can I book solo?
Absolutely! As of 2025, almost 84% of TrovaTrip Travelers go solo. (And yes, we may be a little biased, but we think group travel is one of the best ways to meet new people!) You'll have your own bed and the option to book a private room on most trips. Plus you'll be traveling with others who are just as excited to explore and connect.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while balancing the logistics of group travel:
- Spot pending – 100% refundable. Not confirmed yet? No worries. You can cancel at any time for a full refund.
- Spot confirmed with 91 or more days before your trip – Partially refundable + credit towards a future trip. You'll receive a future trip credit for the amount of your down payment (minus a $100 cancellation fee per Traveler). This trip credit is valid for one year from the date it is issued. Additionally, any payments made beyond the original 25% down payment will be refunded to your original form of payment.
- Spot confirmed with 90 days or fewer before your trip – Non-refundable. At this point, all payments are non-refundable because your experience is already in motion behind the scenes. By this time, our operating partners will be working with local businesses to secure your accommodations and finalize your activities.

Every trip has a physical Activity Level from 1 to 5 so you can find the right fit for your travel style:
- Level 1 – Relax + Unwind: Minimal movement (spa days, beach lounging, local markets)
- Level 2 – Low-Key Movement: Light, easy-paced activity (snorkeling, boat tours, gentle hikes)
- Level 3 – Moderate Activity: Ready to move (multi-day hikes, skiing, camping)
- Level 4 – Get Your Heart Rate Up: More intense movement (long hikes, biking, active days)
- Level 5 – Extreme Adventure: High-adrenaline travel (challenging hikes, dives, technical climbs – experience may be required)

What does "or similar" mean next to the accommodations?
When we say “or similar,” it means the hotel listed is an example of what you can expect—not always the exact spot you'll be staying. Sometimes Operators adjust accommodations due to seasonal availability or group size. But rest assured: the quality and comfort will match what's shown.
Why would the accommodations change from time of booking?
Flexibility allows Operators to choose the best-fit accommodations closer to your trip—based on availability, logistics, and what works best for the group (like the number of Travelers and room configurations). This ensures a smooth experience without sacrificing comfort or quality.
Finalized hotel info is typically shared about 30 days before departure in your Traveler Portal, along with your final itinerary.

Who actually runs my trip, and how does Trova keep things safe?
Your trip is operated by licensed, certified Tour Operators who manage all trip logistics and safety—from accommodations and local Guides and day-to-day logistics. All trips comply with local legal and regulatory standards. We vet each Operating partner carefully so you can travel with confidence.

General Travel Questions
Do I need any documentation to travel?
It depends on where you're headed. Though it is not a universal requirement, many countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date. This ensures Travelers have sufficient time to return home even if their visas are extended or if unexpected circumstances arise.
Some destinations may also require a visa. Check our visa page to consult your country's travel resources.
Do I need any vaccines?
It's always best to check with your healthcare provider or a travel doctor before your trip. You can also visit the CDC website (or your local government's travel health resource) for destination-specific vaccine guidance. Health and safety first!
Are flights included in the trip cost?
Because our Hosts and Travelers are coming from all around the world, flights to and from your destination are not included. Some trips include internal flights (like a short domestic hop), and those details will always be listed on the trip page if applicable.
Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
We’ll do our very best! Our Operators aim to accommodate dietary restrictions, though availability varies by destination. For example, some places offer plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, while others might be quite limited. The earlier you let us know—through your trip form or by contacting our support team—the better we can prepare. Once you arrive, be sure to remind your local Guide about any allergies or restrictions so they can help you enjoy your meals safely and comfortably.
