New York City, the very name conjures up images of Broadway, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty; Frank Sinatra and yellow taxi cabs. The city that never sleeps has the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and the Empire State Building, where movies like ‘An Affair to Remember’ and ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ will always be a part of its soul. It also has the sadness of 911, when the world watched in horror as evil took New York City in its grip with images that will forever be remembered throughout the world. But the beautiful city of New York has come back stronger, it has weathered the storm of heartache and loss and the city is alive, vibrant and welcoming.

What does public transportation look like? The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is New York City’s public transportation system which consists of subways, buses, and ferries with most lines operating 24 hours a day.

 

Is Uber or Lyft available?  Yes, they are both common throughout the city.
