Day 1

Welcome to Morocco!

You made it, and we’re so excited to have you join us on the adventure of a lifetime! You will be greeted at the airport and transported to your hotel in Chefchaouen (~2.5 hour drive).

Afterwards, you'll have your first meal with the group where you'll cheers to the week ahead.

Overnight in Chefchaouen

Arrival: Fly into Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG). TrovaTrip will provide 3 transfers between 8am and 5pm.

Day 2

For your first full day in Morocco, enjoy a tour of the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen! Your guide will show you all the main highlights, bring you to gorgeous viewpoints, and teach you about the history of this incredible city.

Day 3

Morocco is known for its full flavored meals and today you'll learn how to cook them yourself! A local chef will guide you through a Moroccan Cooking Class where you'll be introduced to the countless spices, flavors, and dishes in Moroccan cuisine. The best part? You get to eat your final creation for lunch!

With full bellies you'll bid adieu to Chefchaouen and make your way to the ancient city of Fes. Enjoy a night to relax and explore on your own before more adventures tomorrow.

Day 4

Today you'll dive deep into the history of Fes and it's ancient Medina (old town). A local guide will walk you through the narrow winding streets and point out the places of historic origin. Don't forget your wallet today, Fes has incredible markets for fresh food, jewelry, instruments and more!

Take the afternoon to relax or ask your local guide for recommendations for the area!

Day 5

Early bird gets the views and today you'll have a crisp early departure in order to make it to the Sahara desert! The drive will take you through beautiful forests and wind-swept plains before arriving in Erfoud, the port of entry to the Saharan dunes. Next, you'll swap the bus for 4WD vehicles and you'll begin your journey to your Saharan campsite.

Upon arrival, settle in before a group meal! As the sun sets, find time to relax under the stars or play music by the fire as you bask in the vastness of this famous desert.

Day 6

Wake up in the most scenic campsite you'll ever stay and fill up on breakfast before your big day of adventuring in the desert.

Today you'll enjoy desert exploration as you sand-board, hike, and explore these miraculous area! Lunch will be included so you can fill up after your adventures.

This evening, enjoy another group meal before being treated to local music and entertainment. Music is a huge part of Moroccan culture and you're always welcome to join in on the festivities!

Day 7

Today you'll have the chance to get up early to catch the sunrise from the top of the dunes!

Then it's time to say au revoir to the desert and make your way back west towards Marrakech. You will head to the ancient village of Ait Ben Haddou, where you'll stop for a tour of this important complex. The film location for countless movies and shows including Gladiator & Game of Thrones, this historical site is important to both modern and ancient culture.

Day 8

This morning you'll finish out your drive to Marrakech and then will have the day to relax and unwind from the previous day's travel.

Day 9

For your last full day in Morocco, enjoy a guided tour of the YSL Museum and the Ben Youssef Madrasa!

Enjoy a free afternoon or sign up for the optional Hammam Treatment.

Squeeze in some last minute shopping or exploration before meeting up with the group for the farewell dinner. Cheers to an incredible week spent with wonderful people!
