A once full time stay-at-home mom never having traveled outside the United States, yoga awakened a part of me I didn't know I needed. I earned my 200hr RYT in 2015, released my ebook Rising Up Stronger in '18 (a strength and stability guide to your yoga practice and inversions) and continued my journey earning my 500hr YTT. I shook up my life and it's pattens when I bit the bullet and bought a ticket to Bali back in 2018. From that point forward the travel bug got me and I've been leading yoga retreats around the globe. My hope is that others will be able to add stamps to their passports, practice yoga (something that has brought more peace, calmness, and compassion for others than ever before), and start saying "YES" to themselves. Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Chiang Mai, Thailand! Your guide will be waiting at the International arrival terminal outside baggage claim. Meet and greet before leaving for your hotel in Chiang Mai.

For dinner meet the crew and cheers to the adventure ahead!

Overnight in Chiang Mai

Arrival: Fly into Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). We'll provide 3 transfers between 8am and 5pm.

Day 2

Rise and shine, it's time for your first yoga workshop!

Afterwards you're off to Somphet Market to shop for fresh ingredients for todays cooking lesson. You'll have your very own wok to experiment with herbs and spices to create tasty Thai dishes.

Enjoy your creation for lunch!

Rising Up Stronger (120 min): A strength-based workshop creating stability and awareness preparing students to work into beginner inversions and arm balances. Based off of Chelsea’s e-book, Rising Up Stronger.


Day 3

Your day will kick off with a morning flow.

After, you'll visit Wat Pha Lat Temple located within a woodland in the Suthep District, Muang County, Chiang Mai. Together we'll hit Monk's trail (1.5 hrs) and experience waterfalls and a lovely view of this once abandoned temple.

Free afternoon.

Finish the day with evening yoga.

Day 4

We're off to your new home away from home in Pai!

In the afternoon you'll visit the White Buddha that sits on the hill overlooking Pai town. Experience the beautiful colors and view at sunset.

Practice yoga in the evening before calling it a day.

Included: Breakfast, White Buddha Sunset Visit, Hip Hip Hooray! (120 min)

Hip Hip Hooray! (120 min): Opening the hips allows for more range of motion as well as for releasing tension from built up emotional and stagnant energy. Overdeveloped and tight hip flexors, lower back pain, neglected strength recruitment? We’ll work into it all! Hip openers really give us freedom within the entire body to move while it connects us to stronger inversions, backbends, and transitions!


Day 5

Practice yoga in the morning and enjoy a free day to explore. Need recommendations? Ask your local guide or sign up for the optional guided hike!

The wildlife in Pai is abundant with numerous trails for exploring. Today, you'll have the chance to explore Dipterocarpus forest on a trail that takes you to Mor Phang waterfall.

Day 6

Enjoy yoga in the morning.

After, we're off to Lisu Lodge, nestled deep in the rolling hills of northern Thailand. The village homestay is part of a wider community-based project aiming to conserve the natural heritage of the hill tribes in Chiang Mai.

Your hosts will show you around in the afternoon where you'll get to experience what life is like for locals. You'll visit the ‘Ton Lung’ temple and garden, meet with local families and try a cup of freshly brewed tea made from local leaves.

Dinner will be served at the hotel paired with folk dancing by Lisu villagers.

Overnight at Lisu Lodge

Included: Breakfast, Village Tour, Lunch, Yoga (60 min)


Day 7

Wake up in the wilderness and enjoy a warm breakfast before exploring. Today, you have a choice of several different activities around Lisu Lodge. Relax those muscles with a Thai massage- or explore the countryside by bike, enjoy a steamed bath, tour a nearby tea plantation by bike, you choose!

Later in the day you'll return to Chiang Mai and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Enjoy one last meal meal together.

Day 8

End of trip! We'll provide 2 transfers in the morning.
