Portugal is known for its sunshine, beaches and hospitality. Enjoy the many sights, as we take you on a 10-day tour around this incredible country.

Lisbon: With its beautiful landscape including its own version of the Golden Gate bridge, Lisbon offers incredible views, drink & nightlife. We'll spend 3 nights exploring the capital.

Porto: Smaller than, but just as beauiful as Lisbon, Porto is the birthplace of Port wine, and has many sights to explore over your 3 nights there.

Lagos: Known for its beaches and its parties, you'll end your trip in Lagos where you can choose to live it up or kick back and enjoy the Portuguese sunshine.

Welcome to beautiful Lisbon! You’ll meet your Trova squad for a welcome happy hour to get acquainted and to get the low down on the 10 incredible days you’ll be spending in Portugal. From when you first touch down in Lisbon, you’ll be blown away by the city’s beautiful architecture, friendly people and amazing nightlife. Did we mention rooftop bars? Because Lisbon has some of the best in the world, including our favorite one on top of a parking lot (seriously!).

Arrival: Festivities start in Lisbon at 6pm. Fly into Lisbon International Airport (LIS).

Included: Welcome dinner with the squad!

We’ll kick off our first workshop by focusing on how to maximize your Instagram account by capturing the best photos and posting engaging content. We understand that each voice is unique and individual, so we’ll focus on tapping into your unique creative style. Our session will close with some nerd talk around algorithm hacks.

Social Media Workshop (included): This lesson will help you focus on how to capture beautiful images, increase your engagement and not waste time when creating an engaging Instagram post. We'll also talk about how to create your own style, beat the algorithm and create content that aligns with your passions.

Pick your path! We’ll be providing an optional trip to Sintra, home to one of the most colorful palaces you’ll ever witness. Not up for it? No problem, we purposely provide flexibility and gaps in activities so you can travel and experience at your own pace. Hit the beach or hang at the hotel, the choice is yours!

Tchau (bye) Lisbon, off to Porto! If Porto sounds familiar, it’s probably because you like dessert wine. Porto is the birthplace of Port wine, a fortified wine, in the same category as Spanish Sherry. We’ll arrive in style by chartered bus and get you settled in before checking out the city and all it has to offer.

Included: Transportation to Porto

Smaller than Lisbon, but with just as much flair, Porto is a coastal city in Northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and wine production. We’ll show you around and introduce you to the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district with its narrow, cobbled streets and to São Francisco Church, known for its lavish baroque interior with ornate gilded carvings and the palatial 19th-century Palácio de Bolsa. Plenty to see in the second-largest city in Portugal.

Included: Tour of Porto

Traveling is a doozy at times. Today, Helene will teach you insider nomad tricks and tips for blogging full-time while also traveling. She'll also share some of her top blogging techniques for getting more eyeballs on you and monetizing your passion.

Blogging Workshop with Helene (included): This session will feature my top blogging tricks and tips for blogging full-time while also traveling. It can be tough to balance both, but these tips can help turn it into a reality for you as well! I'll also share some of my top blogging techniques for getting more eyes on you and how to monetize your passion.

We’re going South! You’ll get a chance to see the stunning Portuguese countryside as we drive South in your own chartered bus to the beach city of Lagos. Hope you brought your bathing suit and dancing shoes because Lagos has beautiful beaches, strong cocktails, and exceptional clubs.

Included: Transportation to Lagos

For our last workshop, we’ll hit the streets (and beaches) together to take photos. Bring your camera or phone to learn what angles work best, settings to shoot, and how to capture attention with your photographs!

Photography Workshop with Helene & Michael (included): Together, we'll hit the streets with Helene and her husband/photographer, Michael, to learn what angles work, settings to shoot, and how to capture attention with your photos! Luckily, we’ll be in the beautiful city of Lagos, so finding good content won’t be difficult.

It’s your last full day in Lagos, soak up the sun and hit the beaches! Looking for a beautiful hike? Head to the beautiful Algarve coastline, which is only 30 minutes away. There is nothing more beautiful than the setting sun after a trip full of good people, wonderful sights, and tasty food and wine. We’ll get the squad together one last time and toast to an awesome trip in Portugal!

We’re sad to see you go, but feel lucky to have had the chance to travel with you. Let us arrange your trip back to Lisbon or continue globetrotting on to other parts of Portugal. Until next time!

Included: Transportation to Lisbon

Departure: We'll drop you off in Lisbon by 1pm. Fly out of Lisbon International Airport (LIS).

Typically breakfast is included, but it varies trip to trip. You can ask your ambassador for tips on where to eat cheap if you’re on a budget!

A down payment of $299 is due at the time of booking. The down payment is refundable until your spot is confirmed at which time it becomes non-refundable. You will receive an email when your spot is confirmed. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days prior to the trip departure. If you book within 45 days from trip start, the full amount will be due at booking, but still refundable until your spot is confirmed.
When you book your trip, your spot will enter a pending status. In most cases, your spot will be confirmed shortly after booking. In cases where there is limited space or if the trip has not yet achieved the minimum number of bookings required for confirmation, your pending status may last longer. While we should know sooner, you’ll be notified at least 60 days prior to trip start whether or not your spot is confirmed. Your down payment is refundable until your spot is confirmed. We recommend not booking a flight until your spot is confirmed.
We cater to young professionals past the stage of roughing it - that means no hostels and no hotels below 3 stars. We strive to create an experience that’s not only authentic, but also easily accessible and comfortable. All hotel locations are conveniently located near the heart of each major destination, so you can live like a local. Less time in transit means more time doing; save the commute for back home.
No more than 20 travelers on each trip. In order to create a personalized experience, we feel it is important to keep group sizes smaller. Sometimes, less is more!
We try to start and end all trips in a major city with an international airport for your convenience. It’s up to you whether or not you want to continue your adventure after the trip end!
We will send a detailed itinerary with everything you need to know at least 7 days prior to your trip start date including hotel information and where to meet up. You can expect each trip to kick off with a Happy Hour for you to meet everyone after settling into your room. Cheers!
You’ll sleep in twin, double or triple shared accommodations with private bathrooms. Traveling with a friend? Just plug in their name while booking under "Roommate Request" or shoot us an email at hi@trovatrip.com and we’ll ensure you’re roomed together. Uncomfortable with sharing a room? Let us know and we'll give you a quote for a single-occupancy bedroom.
Excellent question! We’ll provide a full itinerary including hotel and transportation details at least 7 days prior to your vacation including all necessary travel information. Accommodations often change depending on the group size, so we like to get the exact itinerary out to you when finalized to avoid confusion.
If you’re leaving the country, you’ll need a valid passport that doesn't expire for at least 6 months from the date you depart on your trip. You may also need a Visa. Unfortunately, we cannot provide Visas or guidance on Visas, so please check with your local consulate. You'll probably also want some spending cash (and card), clothes, a bathing suit, toiletries, and anything else you want to show off on vacay! We'll also send you a packing list leading up to your trip.
Each trip is assigned an Ambassador who will lead your group through the full itinerary. You’ll be introduced to your Ambassador prior to your trip. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding your upcoming trip or link up on social media!

Leading up to your trip, we’ll provide recommendations for optional activities you can partake in. Email us at hi@trovatrip.com if you have activity ideas or recommendations.
