itinerary

Chefchaouen: Perched beneath the peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco. Wander the blue-washed mountain village and experience its traditional vibe as you enjoy your first couple days in Morocco.

Fes: Often referred to as the country's cultural capital, experience the Fes El Bali walled medina, the vibrant souks and old-world atmosphere. If you're a foodie, this stop is definitely for you!

Sahara Desert: The third largest desert in the world will delight & surprise you with its beautiful landscape. You'll embark on a voyage by camel through the large seas of brilliantly colored dunes formed by wind-blown sand.

Marrakech: A vibrant & energetic city, Marrakech is one of the most popular cities in Morocco. Taste traditional dishes with the locals at Jemaa el-Fna square and observe the organised chaos. Head down a cobble lane for a full sensory experience of one of the oldest markets in the world.

Welcome to Africa! Arrive in Tangier and meet your travel squad. We’ll travel by bus to Chefchaouen where you’ll stay at a beautifully blue hotel (get your Eiffel 65 jokes out early). We’ll be here for 2 nights, so immerse yourself in the truly incredible culture.

Arrival: Fly into Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG) by 6pm & the group will be transported by charter bus to Chefchaouen.

Included: Welcome Dinner

With wonderful views of the surrounding Rif mountains, Chefchaouen is small enough to wander freely and explore by foot through the hilly narrow streets that wind throughout this blue and white medina. The photo opps are endless!

Included: Breakfast

We’re off to Fes! On our way, we’ll stop at UNESCO World Heritage Archaeological site of Volubilis. The Romans built this city as a trading doorway into Africa. Its beautiful mosaics and columns can still be seen today!

Included: Breakfast

Together, we’ll take in all that the city has to offer as we continue our exploration of Fes. Explore the storybook medina, the endless labyrinths of narrow streets and hundreds of tiny shops. Visit the famous leather tanneries that still use techniques from ancient times to produce fine leather in beautiful colors. Later we'll delve our hands into delicious ingredients to cook traditional Moroccan dishes for tasting.

Included: Breakfast, Fes Walking Tour, Cooking Lesson

We’ll leave for the desert bright & early. Journey over the Middle Atlas Mountains until we reach Erg Chebbi, where the dunes will appear on the horizon. You’ll meet your camel guide and ride at sunset into camp where you’ll enjoy a traditional tagine dinner under the stars.

Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Sip on some tea before returning by camel to the auberge where you’ll enjoy a big breakfast and hot shower. We’ll make a few stops on our way to Dades Valley to stretch out our legs, eat, and explore local markets. Tonight, we’ll have a traditional dinner with a Berber family. You can get henna hand tattoos before or after dinner if you like!

Included: Breakfast

On our journey back to Marrakech, we’ll stop to explore Kellat Magouna, Rose Valley, the Valley of Skoura, Ouarzazate, the Kasbahs of Ait Benhadou, and the Atlas Mountains. There will be a lot of photo opps and stops along the way to break up the long drive back to Marrakech!

Included: Breakfast

See Morocco from the sky! Add an optional hot air balloon ride for a sunset experience you’ll never forget. During the day, visit Majorelle gardens, Ben Youssef Medusa or the Marrakech Museum. Explore the Jemma El Fna and the vast Souk where you’ll find jewelery, olives, herbs, carpets and more. Enjoy tasty mint tea as sellers entice you into their shops.

Included: Breakfast

Optional: Hot Air Balloon Ride

We don’t want the fun to end either, but all good things must come to and end. Until next time…

Included: Breakfast

Departure: Fly out of Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK)

A down payment of $299 is due at the time of booking. The down payment is refundable until your spot is confirmed at which time it becomes non-refundable. We cater to young professionals past the stage of roughing it - that means no hostels and no hotels below 3 stars. We strive to create an experience that’s not only authentic, but also easily accessible and comfortable. All hotel locations are conveniently located near the heart of each major destination, so you can live like a local. Less time in transit means more time doing; save the commute for back home.
No more than 20 travelers on each trip. In order to create a personalized experience, we feel it is important to keep group sizes smaller. Sometimes, less is more!
We try to start and end all trips in a major city with an international airport for your convenience. It’s up to you whether or not you want to continue your adventure after the trip end!
We will send a detailed itinerary with everything you need to know at least 7 days prior to your trip start date including hotel information and where to meet up. You can expect each trip to kick off with a Happy Hour for you to meet everyone after settling into your room. Cheers!
You’ll sleep in twin, double or triple shared accommodations with private bathrooms. Traveling with a friend? Let us know and we'll give you a quote for a single-occupancy bedroom.
Excellent question! We’ll provide a full itinerary including hotel and transportation details at least 7 days prior to your vacation including all necessary travel information. Accommodations often change depending on the group size, so we like to get the exact itinerary out to you when finalized to avoid confusion.
