One of the most enchanting places in the world, Italy has it all: Culture, food, wine, nightlife and did we mention food?

Rome: You'll begin your trip in the historic city of Rome for 3 nights and explore the many alluring historical landmarks while enjoying delizioso Italian cuisine. Explore the city after dark and take part in some of Italy’s best nightlife.

Florence: After Rome, you'll head north to Florence (Firenze). Home of Il David, Michelangelo's tomb, the Ponte Vecchio bridge and many other sights. We recommend comfy shoes as you'll have lots to see in your 3 nights here.

Sorrento: Lastly, you’ll finish your trip in Sorrento for 3 nights where you'll explore the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. Life is a little slower on this serene coast, but the beauty is unparalleled, and it is one of our favorite destinations yet!

    Meet at Hotel in Rome
    Welcome Happy Hour
    Welcome to the historic city of Rome! You’ll meet your Trova squad at the hotel for a welcome happy hour and travel tips. Get ready to explore the many alluring historical landmarks, meanwhile enjoying delizioso Italian cuisine. We hope that you like pasta! Romans can’t live without it, and neither will you. We recommend amatriciana, carbonara, cacio e pepe and gricia. You may even fall asleep dreaming about savory pancetta or guanciale - pig's cheek – only to wake up to do it all over again day 2!

    Workshop with Glo
    How To Be A Better Traveler
    Many people travel to foreign countries expecting locals to cater to them and bow at their feet, when in reality, we need to be approaching our trips with a guest mentality. Just as you wouldn't walk into a stranger's home and kick up your feet on the couch and act like it's your property, the same should apply for travel. Wander the streets of Rome with Glo and learn the necessary travel tips and tricks to live like a local when abroad.

    Tour of Rome
    Time to delve into the sights. We’ll take you on a tour of the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and Colosseum; where celebrations, sporting events and blood was once shed. Along the way your ambassador will guide you to the local spots so you can fuel up on eats like pizza ciliegina – a white pizza (no tomato sauce) drizzled with cherry tomatoes, rocket salad, baked olives, parmesan and, of course, lots of mozzarella cheese.

    Travel Day
    Train to Florence
    Time to make some moves! After a quick breakfast, we’re headed to Florence, also known as Firenze, by Train. In under 2 hours you’ll arrive at the beautiful capital of Tuscany. Famous for its romantic and enchanting culture, art, and architecture. It’s up to you how you’d like to spend your evening, and as always, feel free to lean on us for suggestions.

    Tour of Florence
    Florence has so much to see! And we’ll show you the best of it by taking you on a tour of the Accademia Gallery, Uffizi Gallery, and the Duomo. Didn’t get enough sightseeing? Perhaps rent a car for the evening and visit the neighboring medieval villages. Both Siena and San Gimignano are only an hour away. Make a pit stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa if you’ve got the gas for it!
  • Day 6
    Tuscan Vespa Tour with Glo
    Drive your own vintage Vespa through scenic Tuscany with Glo. You'll explore the beautiful countryside and weave through rolling hills bursting with Chianti grapes. Luckily, Italians also drive on the right side of the road..
  • Day 7
    Travel Day
    Bus to Sorrento
    A comfortable charter bus will pick us up bright and early to make our way to Sorrento on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. And when life gives you lemons, drink limoncello! Sorrento has an abundance of them so you’ll get your fix. It may suite you to spend the evening relaxing by the water, watching the sunset, and enjoying the serenity that this beautiful region has to offer. The world is your oyster and we won’t stop you from shucking it!

    Workshop with Glo
    How to Maximize Your Photography While Traveling
    Together, we’ll explore the iconic shorelines of the Amalfi Coast while learning new photography skills with Glo. Surrounded by colorful cascading buildings trickling down to the clear blue sea, you’ll find it difficult not to capture unforgettable content.

    Personalized Experience
    i.e. Capri Boat Tour
    It’s your last full day to explore! Take delight in the little wonders of Sorrento by taking a trip to Italy’s lost city, Pompeii, or hitch a ride by boat to Capri. Discover the Blue Grotto, and find the magical sunlight that seeps through the cave waters. Prefer to do something else? Tell us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

We'll be meeting at a designated point near the Rome train station at 3 PM on day 1 of the trip. We'll provide additional details on the meeting point after booking. If arriving early, we'll introduce you to other travelers on the trip you'll have the opportunity to meet up with other travelers on the trip.




We'll have you back to the Rome train station by 1 PM on the last day of the trip. You can optionally remain in Sorrento if you wish to extend your stay further.

TrovaTrip provides 3 guided tours on each trip. We also offer a number of optional activities you can sign up for! Activities very by trip, but examples include cooking lessons, boat excursions, wine tasting, museums visits, etc. If you decide to opt into additional activities, plan on spending anywhere from $50-150 per activity. Prices vary depending on what you get into!
Typically breakfast is included, but it varies trip to trip. You can ask your ambassador for tips on where to eat cheap if you’re on a budget!
TrovaPass is available for only $99 / month. Each month, you earn 1 credit that can be applied toward the cost of any available trip.
A deposit of $299 is due upfront and the remainder will be charged 45 days prior to the trip departure. If you book within 45 days from departure, the full amount will be due upfront.
We cater to young professionals past the stage of roughing it- that means no hostels and no hotels below 3 stars. We strive to create an experience that’s not only authentic, but also easily accessible and comfortable. All hotel locations are conveniently located in the heart of each major destination, so you can live like a local. Less time in transit means more time doing; save the commute for back home.
Up to 20 people. In order to create a personalized experience, we feel it is important to keep group sizes smaller. Sometimes, less equals more!
Each trip starts in a major city with an international airport for your convenience. We will always provide transportation back to the starting point of each trip. It’s up to you whether or not you want to return to the start or adventure on to new destinations!
We will send a detailed itinerary with everything you need to know 3 days prior to your trip, including hotel information and where to meet up. Reminders will go out the day of as well. You can expect each trip to kick off with a Happy Hour for you to meet everyone after settling into your room. Cheers!
You’ll sleep in twin, double or triple shared accommodations with private bathrooms. Traveling with a friend? Just plug in their name while booking under "Roommate Request" or shoot us an email at hi@trovatrip.com and we’ll ensure you’re roomed together. Uncomfortable with sharing a room? Let us know and you can pay extra for a single.
Excellent question! We’ll provide a full itinerary including hotel and transportation details 3 days prior to your vacation including all necessary travel information. Accommodations often change depending on the group size, so we like to get the exact itinerary out to you just a few days prior to your trip to avoid confusion.
If you’re leaving the country, you’ll need a valid passport that doesn't expire for at least 6 months from the date you depart on your trip. You may also need a Visa. Unfortunately, we can not provide Visas or guidance on Visas, so please check with your local consulate. You'll probably also want some spending cash (and card), clothes, a bathing suit, toiletries, and anything else you want to show off on vacay!
Each trip is assigned an Ambassador who will lead your group through the full itinerary. You’ll be introduced to your Ambassador prior to your trip. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding your upcoming trip or link up on social media!
YES! Don’t feel pressured to find someone to join you on a trip. Part of the Trova experience is traveling with complete strangers so you can meet new and wonderful people from around the world. We purposefully match you with like-minded travelers to make the experience easy.
We purposefully keep schedules light so you don’t feel overwhelmed and have time to explore or relax on your own.
Leading up to your trip, we’ll provide recommendations for optional activities based on your travel preferences. Optional activities are not included in your travel package and will cost extra. Email us at hi@trovatrip.com if you have activity ideas or recommendations.
