Amazing tour with great variety- highly recommend! April 2019

We did the 13 day Caribbean to Pacific coast tour with green world adventures and it was absolutely fantastic. There was great variety in the holiday- lots of fantastic things to see and do and the right balance between relaxation and being active. It is hard to select highlights as there were so many, white water rafting, ziplining in monteverde, visiting manual Antonio national park, the hanging bridges and viewpoints at arenal volcano were just a few. The transfers between hotels made the trip so much easier than it could have been and the hotels were of a high quality. Would recommend this specific tour and green world adventures highly.

Excellent itinerary, organisation and communication April 2019

We had been to Costa Rica before but were arriving in Puerto Limon by ship and wanted to extend our trip by a week. Green World Adventures put together the itinerary we wanted within the budget that we requested, communication was excellent and the trip was without fault. All the transport arrangements, which were a bit complex worked brilliantly and the accommodations was perfect. They also organised all our activities which exactly what we wanted.

Best time of my life!April 2019

I had never been to CR and didn’t know what to expect. Diego and Alberto were unbelievable guides and made us feel at home from the very beginning. They were so thoughtful and respectful when it came to accommodating our plans. We were able to truly maximize the 7 day stay and turn it into a trip we’ll never forget. Highly recommend GWA. There’s no better way to see the beautiful country of Costa Rica!

    Non Stop FunFebruary 2019

We booked the Multi Sport/Eco Adventure Tour for my 50th birthday (2 adults and a 13 year old). The standard tour is 9 days but we added a couple of nights. You do not have to stick with what is listed in the standard itinerary and can add nights and activities in any location (but adds to the price, obviously). We found GWA very flexible and accommodating. We did extra nights in Samara and Fortuna. Another couple we met did extra nights in San Jose, but I believe they wished they had done at least one of them somewhere along the way instead.

We did not have a single hiccup the whole trip. The hotels they booked were nice, the tours were top notch and all transportation was comfortable and on time.

What to expect - Someone from Green World will pick you up at the airport and take you to your first hotel and go over your itinerary. You get a booklet with daily descriptions and times - vouchers were included for everything, but never actually needed. You will not see anyone from Green World again until they pick you up to take you back to the airport. They have arranged everything else for you in between. It is not a tour where you are herded around with the same group of people from place to place. There were a few other couples who were doing pretty much the same tour, but were at different hotels and often did different activities or at different times - meaning it was nice that you got friendly with a few others but weren't stuck with the exact same group for 10 days.

Every single activity was worthwhile. The water level in January was a little low for the white water rafting and canyoning, but still fun. Horseback riding was way better than we expected and surfing lessons were great - you could even come back the next day and use the boards for free. It is a bit more work, packing and unpacking as compared to staying at an all-inclusive (which we have done many times) but we all agreed that this trip was more enjoyable than sitting around the same place every day.

Yes, we could have probably booked all the hotels/transportation/activities ourselves, but it would have been way more stressful, way more time consuming, not as likely to have gone as smoothly and I am not even sure it would have saved any money. We have no regrets booking with GWA and would absolutely recommend them.

    Amaizing week long tripFebruary 2019

Alberto with GWA did a excellent job getting us where we wanted to go, from Tamarindo to Bocas Del Toros to Lapa Rios on the Osa Peninsula and back. The flights were reasonable and we could not figure out how to get it accomplished. Alberto put this all together without a issue. We even had to throw a ringer in at the last minute and 2 people were not able to go along as they had family health issues. Alberto was able to get us the reservations cancelled and most of their money back. I can’t say enough and would never consider any other company.
